Sematech is relocating all but a small part of their operations from Texas to Albany.
January 2011 will mark the relocation of most of Sematech from Austin, Texas, to Albany, NY. Sematech helps the research and development of its member companies.
More importantly, Sematech and Albany estimate that this will create about 100 new jobs, but it is currently unclear what positions will be available.
