Good Food, Good Will

The situation in Japan has us all saddened and looking for ways to help. Did you know that helping the Japan relief effort could be as simple as buying food for your own family? One local company is donating 50% of their online sales revenue to Japan relief.
Now through April 30, 2011, the Albany based food company, Our Daily Eats, will be donating half of the revenue from every online sale to the American Red Cross for victims of the Japan earthquake and tsunami.

So if spicy maple pepitas, cinnamon maple almonds or one of their other 11 roasted nut varieties sound like a great idea, hearing this news makes it sound like an even better idea. Visit Our Daily Eats online at OurDailyEats.com.

Please note, Our Daily Eats products are also available in local stores, but in order to help the Japan relief, your purchase must be made online.

Do you think this is a good way to help with the Japan relief? Are you more likely to buy from brands who are making goodwill donations?
