Albany has been considered as one of the greenest cities in the country according to The Daily Beast. The website recently looked over some data from a market research, Experian Simmons, and was able to conclude what are the greenest cities in America.
Albany is ranked 16th in the nation and is greener than cities like Denver, Miami, Orlando, and Reno. The top three cities are San Francisco, New York and number one was Honolulu.

The rankings were configured by measuring the percentages of people who act eco-conscious, make conscious effort to recycle and number of public-transportation trips per capita for the fourth quarter of last year.

So keep up the good work Albany residents and keep recycling.
