2026 Love Albany Egg Hunt

About this event

The free family fun event returns to Washington Park on Saturday, April 4 with 19,000 eggs and a full afternoon of activities!

Several committed community partners will contribute to the memorable family experience including: 

•  Hotdogs and Therapy Dog Visits from the Albany Police Department

•  Rock Wall Climb from the Albany County Sheriff’s Department

•  1K Bunny Fun Run by Cap City Runners

•  Bunny Photobooth from the City of Albany Office of Cultural Affairs

•  Music by DJ Intell Hayesfield

•  Bounce houses, lawn games, and popcorn from Christ’s Church Albany & Love Albany

•  Individual and family prizes in the raffle include books from Paper Pie, family four-pack of tickets for the Albany Firebirds, gift cards from Stewart’s Shops, and more!

Event Schedule

• 11:45am - Registration & Nonprofit Tables Open

• 12:00pm - Festival Activities Begin

• 12:20pm - Bunny Fun Run for Kids 

• 1:00pm - Egg Hunt: Fields are marked by age group of 0-Pre-K, Grades K-2, Grades 3-5 

• 1:15pm - Mascot Dance-Off

• 1:20pm - Raffle Drawing

This is a rain or shine event. If the event needs to be moved indoors, the Egg Hunt will be held at the Love Albany Center at 8 Kate St.
