A new pub restaurant called The Judge’s Inn is shooting for a May 1st opening. The new lunch and dinner joint is located at 254 Broadway in Troy, NY.
The Judge’s Inn is a new Troy restaurant which is in the
development stage of opening at 254 Broadway in Troy, NY. It will consist of
mostly pub food, such as burgers and sandwiches then also offer a variety of
other entrees. Prices of these dishes will range from about $8 to $9 up to $19.
The restaurant will specialize in cooking meats in-house,
and having home-made soups and desserts daily. Another unique element of the
menu is that it will offer beer/food pairings. The draft beer selection will
consist of 17 craft brews, so hopefully there will be a lot of interesting
suggestions. After all, the restaurant’s slogan is “You can’t leave here ’til
you pass the bar.”
The Judge’s Inn is owned by a partnership of Mike Olekowski
and Howard Yaeger, who own Badass Burrito in Lansingburgh, and Art Fredetter,
owner of the bar Positively Fourth Street in Troy.
It will be open for lunch and dinner Monday through Friday,
with weekend hours still up for debate. The restaurant will offer pool tables,
dart boards and live music on the weekends.
