American Idol is coming to the Capital Region in
August. If you can’t possibly wait
another month for that amazing concert, you won’t want to miss the Tri City
Valley Cats Game on Saturday! This
weekend, the Joseph L. Bruno Stadium will be hosting Siobhan Magnus, a Season 9
finalist on July 9th!
Magnus auditioned for the show in Boston
and succeeded through Hollywood
and made it into the top 6. She sang
songs such as the Beatles’ “Across the Universe”, and Mariah Carey and Whitney
Houston’s “When You Believe.”
Her dismissal from the show was one of the most
controversial; Magnus had never been in the bottom three until the night she
was sent home. The week after she was
gone, American Idol saw the lowest ratings since season 2, proving that the choice
to send her home was not one everyone agreed with.
The American Idol finalist will sing the National Anthem at
the Joe and there will also be a meet and greet session afterwards.
Will you be headed to the Joe to hear this powerful voice?
Were you outraged when Magnus was sent home? Tell us what you think!
