The Pink Paddock, a Lilly Pulitzer Signature Store, brings its bright bold patterns, and vibrant colors from Saratoga to south of the twin bridges at its brand new Stuyvesant Plaza location!
“Life is a party, dress like it,” may be one of the most notorious Lilly Pulitzer quotes known to woman, and perhaps one of the most noteworthy quotes to live by.
Bringing this quote to life has been made possible in Saratoga Springs, NY for the last 9 years thank to Kim Burton and Steve Snyder, owners of the Pink Paddock, a Lilly Pulitzer Signature Store that has brought boundless style and grace to Broadway since 2005 with its vast array of Lilly attire, accessories, and shoes. The store is brimmed with the ever-so famous bright bold patterns, vibrant colors and feminine, resort-chic style clothing, distinctive to the Lilly Pulitzer brand.
However…
This just in! Now you can shop all your Lilly favorites just south of the Twin Bridges at the Pink Paddock’s brand new second location at Stuyvesant Plaza!
The store has taken over the former location of Justice, between Provence and Bountiful Bread. The store is already off to a successful start since their recent grand opening on July 24th.
The fresh, white, open space is adorned with a couple bright pink accent walls, a glistening marble countertop and a dark, wide plank, walnut floor blanketed by a lime colored rug in the center where you can find the latest and greatest Lilly agendas carefully arranged on a gold accented table with comfy pink & green chairs nearby. This Lilly Signature Store has certainly succeeded in bringing resort chic to the capital region!
Owners, Kim Burton and Steve Snyder had been interested in this new space for a couple of years and have eagerly been awaiting the opportunity to bestow the fabulous styles of The Pink Paddock on the Albany area where a large portion of their customers reside with this second location of their successful boutique. Burton saw the large quantity of loyal customers outside of her Saratoga customer base for the past 9 years and decided she really wanted to take the store her customers love and “bring it to their backyard.”
Although Stuyvesant Plaza is home to many other various women’s fashion brands, Burton feels that there really isn’t anything quite like the styles offered by the Pink Paddock, and that will play largely in their favor. The store, which carries predominately Lilly Pulitzer attire, classifies their style as “resort chic,” which won’t be much competition to any other stores that exist there already since it is a very distinct branch of women’s wear.
Although the Lilly Pulitzer brand makes up the majority of the Pink Paddock collection, they also carry Vineyard Vines, Pink Pineapple, Tommy Bahama, Rebecca Ray, and other luxury brands.
If the Pink Paddock isn’t a store you’ve had the pleasure of perusing, put it on your must-shop list! The feminine and fun, resort-chic all year round (#Resort365) atmosphere puts shopping at a Lilly Pulitzer Signature Store on a pedestal, because it is an experience quite unlike anything else.
Although the fun and classy Lilly prints are a key element of the Lilly Pulitzer signature look, there is truly something for everyone’s style. Burton stresses that when Lilly comes to mind for many women, they think unknowingly about what the brand was decades ago. The brand is now comprised of so many unique looks, boasting a large variety of versatile fabrics including linens and silks with different applications and prints, both loud and simple, offering a little slice of style to fit every wardrobe.
When asked who is a “Lilly lady”? Kim Burton simply states:
“Everybody is a Lilly Lady!”
Burton anxiously awaits meeting all the new customers that come by the Pink Paddock at the Plaza. It is sure to be one shopping experience that won’t disappoint!
