Last night was the preview night for Capital Holiday Lights in the Park, and our good friend Kaila Morgante was on the scene (along with her adorable daughter Elle who got to meet Santa for the first time!).
Kaila reports: It’s the 18th year for the annual Price Chopper Holiday Lights in the Park and, as always, it delivers again. That drive around Washington Park is a staple holiday activity that so many have made a part of their family tradition. With the lights in full swing starting November 20th, you can feel the excitement of the season building. Plus, the proceeds benefit a fantastic cause, the Albany PAL, who provides educational, recreational and athletic programs for Albany’s youth. The lights will run until January 3rd, so be sure to add this to your to do list before they go out!
A few more photos from the preview reception:
It’s always great to kick off the holiday season with Capital Holiday Lights in Albany! This season runs from November 20 – January 3rd. Whether you drive through, walk through or take a carriage ride through, you will marvel at this year’s lighted displays, old and new.
While your friends are all saying, “It’s too early to be talking about Christmas!” you can shamelessly enjoy a little jump start to the season, starting tomorrow!
