Do you have the Monday blues? Well, downtown Albany wants to fix that! Visit Tricentennial Park on Monday evenings throughout the summer for live music, food trucks, and classic movies at the brand new Bites Camera Action event series, starting July 10.
Bites…Camera…Action!
Break out your time machines, warm up your magic wands, and follow your treasure map to Tricentennial Park in downtown Albany for 6 Monday evenings this summer as the park is transformed into the place to be for outdoor entertainment and delicious food! The Downtown Albany Business Improvement District (BID) is proud to announce its new summer series: Bites Camera Action, which premieres July 10 at 5 p.m. and runs on Monday evenings through August 14.
Wave your light sabers to live music from your favorite DJ or sing along to an area band and an award-winning musical in the same night! Hungry? You can chow down on snacks and dinners from the Burger 21, Given to Fry, and The Hungry Traveler food trucks as you watch scientists and kids avoiding becoming a meal for dinosaurs. Additionally, don’t miss the chance to show off your movie trivia and play games for all ages!
Taking the best elements of BID’s popular Fork in the Road food truck events and Deja View outdoor movie series, Bites Camera Action offers evenings full of great live music, delectable food, and movie magic. Local bands or DJs will perform and food vendors will serve from 5 to 8 pm every evening of the series, followed by a different movie screened each week at 8:30 pm.
Make your movie experience even better by bringing your own lawn chair or blanket to spread out on in the park. There will be free parking available after 5 pm at the nearby Riverfront Garage and on the street.

- Monday, July 17: Jurassic Park | Live music by Kimono Dragons
- Monday, July 24: Harry Potter & The Sorcerer’s Stone | Live music by The Useless Cans
- Monday, July 31: La La Land | Live music by Bryan Brundigs & Crick Diefendorf
- Monday, August 7: The Goonies | Live music by DJ Mercy
- Monday, August 14: Star Wars: The Force Awakens | Live music by Victory Soul Orchestra
