County fair season is underway in New York State! Take a drive with the family to Cobleskill this weekend for food, rides, and fun at the 2019 Schoharie County Sunshine Fair. Gates open at 9:00am daily and close at midnight.
OLQP/St. Margaret of Cortona Annual Festa – Friday, August 9 – Sunday, August 11
Join Our Lady Queen of Peace in Schenectady this weekend at their annual Festa! The three-day celebration will include live music, great Italian food, a garage sale, children’s games, carnival rides for all ages, and more.

Harbor Jam Concert Series: The Georgia Satellites – Saturday, August 10
The Georgia Satellites will perform live at the Mohawk Harbor Amphitheater this Saturday as part of the 2019 Harbor Jam Concert Series. Admission is free, and the concert will kick off at 6:00pm.
Powers Park Concert Series: True Grit Outlaws – Saturday, August 10
Travel to Troy on Saturday night for a free concert at Powers Park featuring the True Grit Outlaws. The show will begin at 6:00pm.
Freedom Park Summer Concert Series – Saturday, August 10 & Sunday, August 11
The Freedom Park Summer Concert Series will continue this weekend with two more performances. On Saturday, Dead Ahead (Grateful Dead tribute) will take the stage at 7:00pm, and then on Sunday, Big Fez & The Surfmatics will perform at 7:00pm.

Open Car Show at Bethlehem Area YMCA – Saturday, August 10
Are you a fan of cool and classic cars? Cruise over to the Bethlehem Area YMCA on Sunday for their Open Car Show. The car show will run from 10:00am-2:00pm and feature a 50/50 raffle, DJ, dash plaques for the first 70 cars, trophies for the top 30 cars, and more.
Rockin Raptors and Reptiles – Saturday, August 10
Get your tickets to see Rockin Raptors and Reptiles at Proctors in Schenectady. This family-friendly show will bring the exciting world of raptors and reptiles to you. Attendees will be just feet away from exotic reptiles and birds of prey.

34th Annual Run For the Roses 5K, Nature Walk & Kids’ Fun Run – Sunday, August 11
Lace up your running shoes and head over to Grafton Lakes State Park on Sunday for the 34th Annual Run For the Roses 5K, Nature Walk & Kids’ Fun Run. Proceeds raised will benefit the Grafton Community Library.
