2020 Capital Holiday Lights in the Park Kicks Off with a Sneak Peek Event
Although the grand opening of the 2020 Capital Holiday Lights in the Park isn’t until next week on Friday the 27th, you and your family can get an early look at this year’s lights show during the Drive-Through Sneak Peek on November 20th and 21st. Be among the first to see the dazzling displays and get into the holiday spirit.

Schenectady Rotary Club Hosts Holiday Wreath Sale
To raise funds for community grants, the Schenectady Rotary Club has partnered with the Schenectady ARC Horticulture Center to host a Holiday Wreath Sale. Each 24″ wreath is adorned with a red bow and pinecone cluster, and they cost $25 each. Online orders can be placed on the Rotary Club’s website through December 1st. Limited quantities will be available at Schenectady ARC – Maple Ridge on the pickup dates: December 4th, 2:00pm-4:00pm and December 5th, 9:00am-12:00pm.
Shop for Gifts at the Holiday Bazaar in Amsterdam
Take a drive this Saturday and browse the gift shop at The Century Club of Amsterdam’s Holiday Bazaar. There will be gifts, trees, and wreaths for sale, holiday music, and a raffle.

Eat Local During Downtown Schenectady Restaurant Appreciation Week
Give thanks this holiday season and support local restaurants during Downtown Schenectady Restaurant Appreciation Week, happening now through November 22nd. Over a dozen downtown Schenectady restaurants are offering a special menu or food promotion.
Schenectady Greenmarket Prepares to Move Indoors for the Winter
Featuring over 60 local vendors, the Schenectady Greenmarket is a top spot for groceries, take-away meals, artisanal items, and more. The market is currently open on Sundays from 10:00am-2:00pm outside Schenectady City Hall, and the last date for the outdoor market is November 22nd. Beginning December 6th, the Schenectady Greenmarket will move inside Proctors for the winter, and it will remain open on Sundays from 10:00am-2:00pm.
New Craft Brewery Opening Soon in Delmar
The Capital Region’s craft beer scene continues to grow, and on November 25th, the new Warbler Brewery and Taproom will open its doors in Delmar. This family brewery will serve a diverse selection of handcrafted beer, including dynamic IPAs and refreshing pilsners.

The Arts Center of the Capital Region to Offer a Virtual Wreath-Making Class & Wine Tasting
Celebrate the holidays and join The Arts Center of the Capital Region virtually for a wreath-making class and wine tasting next Tuesday, November 24th. Their Holiday Sparkle event includes all wreath-making materials and three bottles of sparkling wine for tasting. It’s a fun opportunity to create your own fresh Evergreen holiday wreath, and tickets are $60 each.
