One of the best ways to experience the great outdoors in Albany is with Dutch Apple Cruises, which offers sightseeing cruises on the scenic Hudson River. The cruise company officially opens for the season today, April 29, and both indoor and outdoor seating will be available on the boat. Shop for the Latest in West African Fashion at Crossgates Mall’s Newest Store
Crossgates Mall continues to welcome new stores each year, and earlier this month, a shop called West Africa Treasures “Too” opened on the upper level between Forever 21 and lululemon. This is the second location in Crossgates for West Africa Treasures, which opened last year and sells unique arts and crafts from West Africa.
West Africa Treasures “Too” has a different focus. Customers can expect to find the latest in West African fashion and accessories for women, men, and children. This shop opened on April 15, 2022.
Mark Your Calendar for the Return of Jazz on Jay
Jazz on Jay, one of the Capital Region’s most popular summer concert series, will be returning on Thursday, June 9, with a free performance by Colleen Pratt and Friends in downtown Schenectady. The 2022 concert series will take place each Thursday from June 9 – September 1, and concerts will run from 12:00pm-1:30pm. Don’t miss out on the free live music!
Get Details About an Italian Deli Coming to Schenectady
Downtown Schenectady will soon be getting a new Italian deli and community kitchen. According to an article from the Times Union, Suriano’s Deli & Italian Specialties is aiming for an early summer opening at 140 Clinton Street in Schenectady.
Suriano’s will offer a variety of sandwiches, prepared food, and grab-and-go entrees, as well as shelves full of Italian goods and pantry items. The building will also have a community kitchen available for rental by small producers or local restaurants.
