Maple Ski Ridge
Located right in the Capital District, just outside Albany in Schenectady, NY, is Maple Ski Ridge offering skiing and snowboarding, complete with a terrain park. Reasonable rates, a variety of trails for all levels and abilities, and birthday party packages makes this a popular choice among families. Equipment rentals are available.

Royal Mountain
Located Northwest of Albany in Caroga Lake, Royal Mountain Ski Center is a great family-friendly ski area. With 5 beginner, 3 intermediate, and 5 expert trails as well as 3 chair lifts, Royal Mountain is perfect for all ages and abilities. Need to learn how to ski? Royal's got it!

Willard Mountain
Discover a 550 ft vertical drop at Willard Mountain. Located in Greenwich NY, about half hour from the city of Albany, this local ski center is a great choice-especially for kids. In addition to 4 beginner, 6 intermediate and 4 expert trails, Willard Mountain also has a Tubing Park--perfect for birthday parties! Ski rentals are also available.
