The Sand Lake Center for the arts is a not-for-profit community center, located in a renovated 1835 church. From its opening in September of 2003, the Center has hosted many regular events, included four productions a year by the Circle Theatre Players, several acoustic music concerts, an art gallery in the lobby featuring local artists, and increasingly popular Children's activities. There is a cafe and gift shop featuring jewelry made from old stain glasses windows. The Center is available to rent for classes, meetings, dances, concerts, private parties, weddings, displays, and many other special needs. The area is air conditioned and handicapped accessible with plenty of free parking.
