Albany is home to numerous sporting events and attractions year-round, as well as several sports teams - many of whom are based in the The Times Union Center (formerly The Pepsi Arena) and include the Albany River Rats, Albany Conquest and the Sienna Saints. Winter brings access to several skiing areas.
