Proctor's in Schenectady, NY offers three theatre facilities. The Mainstage, GE Theatre and 440 upstairs venue ensure there are always great shows to see!
Theatre performances at The Mainstage include touring Broadway shows, world-class singers, comedians, dance ensembles, orchestras and other popular shows. The Mainstage at Proctor's seats over 2,600 people.
The GE Theatre seats 436 and features an iwerks Extreme Screen for 3-D movies and children’s programs. 440 upstairs is a 100-seat acoustic performance space, ideal for smaller performances and events.
Proctor's Theatre underwent a $30 million expansion and renovation, which was completed in 2007. The renovation project won Proctor's the 2008 Excellence in Historic Preservation Award from the Preservation League of NYS.
