About this event

The Capital Region Flower & Garden Expo is March 27-29, 2026, at Hudson Valley Community College, Troy, NY. See large-scale gardens and floral-themed exhibits, educational stations, lectures, demonstrations, and a Marketplace filled with over 190 flower and garden-themed retail exhibits, an indoor farmers market, and NYS wine tastings.

2026 Highlights:

  • Ecological Landscape Exhibit: Presented by Home Earth Alliance, featuring native and pollinator-friendly gardens.
  • Outdoor Living: Large-scale displays of outdoor kitchens and water features.
  • Plant Shopping: Massive selection of houseplants, succulents, seeds, and bulbs.
  • Tastings: Free samples from over 18 New York State wineries and distilleries.
  • Exclusive Previews: A look at the Proven Winners 2026 new and improved varieties.
  • Art & Photos: Sand sculpture by Phil Singer and a "Living Wall" photo spot by Felthousen’s Florist (free photos provided by MVP Health Care).
  • Garden Services: Soil testing by Cornell Cooperative Extension (minimum donation requested).
  • Sunday Plant Sale: Exhibit plants available for purchase on Sunday starting at 4:15 PM.

  • Saturday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Sunday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • General Admission: $20 at the door
  • Advance Tickets: $15 (Available online through March 26)
  • 3-Day Pass: $40
  • Children (Under 10): FREE with a paid adult
  • Senior Day (March 27): $14 for ages 62+ (Sponsored by MVP Health Care)
  • Veterans & Active Military: $15 (Sponsored by Family Danz)
