31st Annual Capital Apple & Wine Festival

The Capital Apple & Wine Festival returns for its 31st year on Saturday, September 13 and Sunday, September 14, 2025 at the Columbia County Fairgrounds in Chatham, NY. This two-day celebration of fall flavors and family fun brings together the best of New York’s apples, wines, spirits, artisan foods, and handcrafted goods.

What to Expect:

• Tastings from 25+ wineries, distilleries, cideries, and meaderies, offering everything from classic varietals like Chardonnay and Merlot to fruit wines made with peaches, blueberries, rhubarb, and more

• Craft spirits including gin, whiskey, bourbon, vodka, moonshine, aperitifs, canned cocktails, and cream liqueurs

• Apple-themed treats like cider and cider donuts, plus a dedicated Apple Tent selling a variety of fresh New York apples

• A great selection of specialty foods and crafts, including maple syrup, jerky, dips, pickles, oils & vinegars, jams, granola, dog treats, candles, bodycare, textiles, and much more

• Live entertainment and music, and family-friendly events all weekend long

• Elks Club Car Show on Sunday

• Delicious food options from local vendors and food trucks—think lobster rolls, tacos, fried pickles, barbecue pork sandwiches, hot dogs, chicken wraps, and donuts
