Christmas Polish Food Sale Returns — With Pierogi, Gołąbki, and Plenty of Holiday Cheer
The Blessed Virgin Mary Parish is bringing back one of the tastiest holiday traditions in the Capital Region: the Christmas Polish Food Sale, happening from noon-5 PM on Saturday, December 13 at 250 Old Maxwell Road in Latham.
The menu features many Polish favorites, including gołąbki, haluski bowls, borscht, bigos, chruściki, kolachki, placek, and 12 varieties of pierogi —homemade and ready to enjoy.
The hot and ready-to-eat menu includes the iconic Polish Platter, complete with a tender gołąbki, a perfectly crafted potato & cheese pierogi topped with golden sautéed onions, and a sizzling link of smoked kielbasa with homemade kapusta. A vegetarian version is also available. Additional sandwiches, like the delicious kielbasa bomber sandwich, are also available.
Shoppers can also take home frozen favorites like premium kielbasa and assorted pierogi to stock their freezers for holiday gatherings. Dessert options include crispy chruściki, delicate kolachki, and our festive chocolate vodka cake. And for those who cherish old-world Christmas traditions, opłatki wafers will be available to share at your Christmas table.
As part of the parish’s Trim-the-Tree Drive, customers are invited to donate hats, mittens, scarves, and children’s pajamas to help local families stay warm this winter. Monetary tips and donations will benefit the Regional Food Bank. Shoppers are invited to browse our holiday craft vendors while we fill orders.
Pre-orders are now open through December 11! Visit bvmc.org/foodsale to reserve your favorites before they sell out. All pre-orders are automatically entered into the Lucky Cart Contest –10 lucky winners will receive their order free
