Dolly West’s Kitchen is a sharp, fast-moving ensemble play that drops you into a house where nothing stays polite for long. In the middle of an ordinary day (tea, chores, small talk that is not actually small talk), old loyalties get tested, secrets leak out, and the room turns into a pressure cooker.
It is funny in that biting, people-are-messy way, and it keeps tightening until you realize you are watching something bigger than one family’s drama. Under the laughs, it asks what we owe each other, what we forgive, and what happens when the stories we tell ourselves stop working.
