About this event
Besides being fun, improv classes improve interpersonal skills, build confidence, encourage creative risk taking, and increase ability to surf uncertainty. This eight week introductory class for children 11-16 has an emphasis on performance, and will culminate in a show for friends and family.
Instructor: Alex Shapiro Hailing from Madison Wisconsin, Alex performed with multiple improv companies including, The Premise, Atlas Improv, ComedySportz (Madison and New York) and Desperate Measures, which he co-founded at Wesleyan University in 1994.
A MopCo regular for the past two years, Alex has been involved with improv since taking classes when he was 13. Alex has years of experience teaching improv classes.
