Join We Are Revolutionary and the Capital Region Fare-Free Transit Coalition for Walk With Us, a community action highlighting the transportation barriers youth face in the Capital Region.

🚶🏾 End: Green Tech High School (99 Slingerland St, Albany)
Students living within 1.5 miles of school are denied bus access, forcing many young people to walk regardless of weather, safety concerns, work schedules, or after-school commitments. At the same time, buses are avoiding school areas at dismissal and fare enforcement continues to disproportionately impact low-income riders while many bus riders are working-class families.
Youth are bearing the burden of transportation inequity.
We’re walking to demand Fare-Free Transit across the Capital District. Transportation is access to education, employment, after-school programs, safety, and opportunity.
Freedom requires mobility.
