ALBANY, NY – The 2011 Ski & Snowboard Expo gets Capital Region residents excited for this year's winter season.
The expo hours are:
• Friday, November 4th, 4:00pm - 9:00pm
• Saturday, November 5th, 10:00am - 6:00pm
• Sunday, November 6th, 10:00am - 5:00pm
The 50th Annual Albany Ski and Snowboard Expo comes to Empire State Plaza for three days, November 4 – 6, 2011. The expo kicks off for the weekend on Friday to give ski enthusiasts a chance to shop around and gear up for the approaching ski season.
It is going to be a big year for this expo, as more than 40 vendors are presenting their gear and giving away tons of prizes for all the ski and snowboard lovers. Vendors will be presenting their latest equipment, fashionable apparel, new services and amazing demonstrations to get everyone pumped up for the winter.
Some of this year’s top vendors include Alpin Haus – New York’s largest ski and snowboard shop, Gore Mountain, Jackson Hole Resort, Jiminy Peak, Killington Resort, Mount Snow, Okemo Mountain, Ski and Snowboard Club of Albany, Stowe Mountain, Stratton Mountain, Whiteface Moutain, World Class Ski and Sport, Zumiez and many, many more!
Also, with a paid admission you receive the Coupon Book, worth hundreds of dollars in discounts at popular ski resorts and retailers in the Northeast, and a chance to win tons of door prizes which are given out every half hour! Door prizes include gift certificates, lift tickets, apparel and more.
Admission: Adults $7 online / $8 at the gate, Children 9 & under are free (with a paid adult.)
Each year the Ski and Snowboard Expo benefits a good cause. This years beneficiary will be annonced shortly.
Parking: $5 per vehicle in the V-lot (visitors) of Empire State Plaza parking garage. Photo ID is required for drivers and each adult passenger. All vehicles are subject to search. Additional parking is available at no charge in the East Garage.
