This weekend, local entrepreneur Kris Roglieri of Prime Commercial Lending, with support from William 'Tragedy' Yager, continue their tradition of providing local families with a free Thanksgiving dinner. The 3rd annual The Big Give Back, which will be held this Sunday, November 20 from 1:00-3:00 PM in the South End of Albany at 224 S Pearl Street, will provide free Thanksgiving turkeys and side dishes.
1,000 frozen turkeys, along with 5,000 sides - five sides with each turkey - will be given away to anyone in need. The giveaway will be first come/first serve from 1:00 PM-3:00 PM, while supplies last. There will also be separate lines for walk-up attendees or those able to drive up.
With the support of Albany County Executive Dan McCoy, the giveaway will be held in the Board of Elections Parking Lot, across from the City Mission.
