Schenectady County SummerNight 2022

Schenectady County SummerNight is back for the first time since 2019! Come to downtown Schenectady from 5:00pm-10:00pm for a massive summer block party. There will be live musical performances, games, food, fireworks, and more.

If you’re a fan of live theatre, then check out what’s happening at the Park Playhouse in Albany’s Washington Park. Today and tomorrow, the Playhouse Stage Company is proud to present “Head Over Heels,” a hysterical musical comedy that includes classic 1980’s tunes from The Go-Go’s and Belinda Carlisle.

The annual Punkintown Fair is a family-oriented event that features a variety of rides, delicious food, and games for all ages at the New Salem Volunteer Fire Department. Admission is free, and the fair begins at 6:00pm each night.
2022 Powers Park Concert Series
July 23
On Saturday at 6:00pm, Chain Reaction will take the stage for Rock Anthem Night at Powers Park in Troy. This is the third event in the 2022 Powers Park Concert Series.

There’s a new music festival in town, and it’s called NipperFest! Presented by Nippertown.com, NipperFest is a free event that will include local bands, food, craft beer, and more at Central Park in Schenectady. Don’t miss out on all of the excitement from 11:00am-10:00pm.
Albany Empire vs. San Antonio Gunslingers

Get your tickets to see the Albany Empire face off against the San Antonio Gunslingers on Saturday at MVP Arena. The event starts at 7:00pm with doors opening 1 hour prior to kickoff.
Freedom Park Summer Concert Series
July 23 & 24
Enjoy another weekend of free music in Scotia during the Freedom Park Summer Concert Series. On Saturday, Jim Gaudet & the Railroad Boys will perform at 7:00pm, and on Sunday, the Dyer Switch Band will perform at 7:00pm.

Are you a fan of classic cars? Head to Canal Square Park on Sunday for the 2022 Cohoes Car Show, which will run from 10:00am-1:00pm. Spectator admission is free.
