The Old Stone Fort invites you to step into history, with two full days of living history activities, trade demonstrations, programming, musket firings, taking you back to the build-up to the American Revolution in Schoharie!
With the theme of the first militia muster in Schoharie during the Revolution, this year's spring event is something new. You'll have the opportunity to engage your senses with the sights, smells, and sounds of Schoharie on the eve of the revolution, as well as the opportunity to engage with living historians and participate alongside them in immersive programs.
You'll have the unique opportunity to see the hearth at work in the Hartmann's Dorf house, as well as the beehive oven in use, and countless other period tasks nearby being carried out on the grounds.
The event runs Saturday 10am-4pm and Sunday 10am-3pm.
