Looking to cool off or enjoy a swim with the family? The City of Albany offers fantastic public pools and neighborhood spray pads to help everyone stay safe and cool during the hot summer months.
City of Albany Public Pools
All 4 official City of Albany public pools are open 7 days a week starting Saturday, July 4, 2026.
- Regular Hours: 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM daily (Staff begins emptying pools at 6:30 PM)

- Lincoln Park Pool
- Mater Christi Pool
- Albany West Pool
Important July 4th Opening Day Info for Lincoln Park Pool: On Saturday, July 4th, Lincoln Park Pool will operate on reduced hours (1:00 PM – 5:00 PM) with a strict 500-person capacity. Long wait times of 1–2 hours are expected. The city recommends arriving by 12:30 PM for security screening. Regular hours resume on July 5th.
Albany Pool Access: Free Rec Pass Required
To gain entry to any City of Albany pool, all residents must sign up for a free Rec Pass. This pass speeds up check-in and connects you to city recreation programs.

Prohibited Items At Pools
To clear security smoothly, ensure your family does not bring any of the following restricted items into the facility:
- Floaties (Only Coast Guard-approved life jackets allowed)
- Chairs / Folding Chairs
- Coolers
- Metal Water Bottles
- Speakers
- Toys / Water Toys
Albany Spray Pads
Spray pads are a quick, fun way for younger kids to cool down. For the 2026 season, active spray pads are open Daily from 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM unless marked closed.
