The New York State Missing Persons Remembrance is dedicated to the men, women and children of NYS who have been reported missing. The Remembrance stands on a hill on the southeast corner of Madison Avenue and Swan Street in Albany, NY.
The Remembrance serves as a place for families and loved ones to reflect and remember those who have gone missing. It is a square, granite base surmounted by a 20-foot stainless steel frame that is supporting an eternal flame, symbolizing the idea of "providing the light home."
