2019 Tulip Dig and Sale

Cost: $5 per bag of bulbs

Editor's Note (5/14/2019): Due to Mother Nature, the Tulip Dig & Sale will be postponed from May 18 and 19 to May 25 and 26.

About the Tulip Dig & Sale

The Tulip Dig & Sale kicks off on Saturday at the Park's iconic Moses Fountain at 9:00am. Volunteers will participate in the annual ritual of digging up the city's iconic tulip bulbs.

May 25th: Tulip Dig

Begins 9 a.m. at the Moses Fountain

The City will provide tools, but please bring a garden fork (NOT a shovel) if you have one. Bulbs are $5 for a bag of 30 – 5 bags per person. The tulip dig is limited strictly to designated beds, under the direction of park staff and volunteers, and ends when all the bulbs have been dug.

May 26th: Tulip Sale

Begins 9 a.m. at the Lakehouse (will probably be sold out before 11 a.m.

The remaining bulbs are first come/ first serve and are $5 for a bag of 30 – 2 bags per person. The sale is open while supplies last.
