The second celebration of the Summer Solstice along the Helderberg-Hudson Rail Trail will take place between the intersection of Adams Street and Hudson Avenue in Delmar and the intersection of Kenwood Avenue and New Scotland Avenue ? the Slingerlands Firehouse ? in Slingerlands. The free event offers music, dancing displays, artists, animal demonstrations (The Critter Patrol and Ford?s Falconry to name just two), crafts for children and food to purchase. We anticipate a wonderful selection of fresh, local produce, organically raised meat and meat products, freshly baked bread and cakes, local honey and maple products, jams and jellies, hand produced crafts and so much more.
