5/4/20: Saratoga Performing Arts Center today announces the cancellation of the 2020 Freihofer's Saratoga Jazz Festival due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The difficult decision was made to ensure the health and safety of the artists, ticket buyers, and the community. In recognition of the festival's importance to the City, SPAC, together with Caffé Lena will present “Freihofer's Jazz Fest Stay Home Sessions.” A series of live streamed performances over the festival weekend, the virtual event will bring Jazz Fest fans and the community together for an intimate concert experience.

“Celebrate Good Times” Saturday, June 27 & Sunday, June 28 with NILE RODGERS & CHIC, KOOL & THE GANG, CASSANDRA WILSON, TAJ MAHAL and more!

Two days, two stages, 24 amazing bands and 16 Festival debuts.
From Classic Jazz to Funk, R&B, Soul, Latin and more!

Headlining the festival on Saturday is Nile Rodgers & CHIC. The multiple Grammy Award-winning composer, producer and artist Nile Rodgers transcends all genres with his chart-topping hits included in CHIC sets, like “Le Freak,” “Good Times,” “Get Lucky” (Daft Punk), “We Are Family” (Sister Sledge) and “Let’s Dance” (David Bowie). The party continues on Sunday with Kool & The Gang, winner of two Grammy Awards and known for their hit songs including “Celebration,” “Jungle Boogie,” “Ladies Night,” "Too Hot” and “Hollywood Swinging.”

Additional artists gracing the stage include premier vocalist Cassandra Wilson, blues master Taj Mahal, award-winning Issac Delgado & His Afro-Cuban Big Band, centennial celebrations of Charlie Parker and Dave Brubeck, Brazilian vocalist and pianist Eliane Elias, jazz prodigy Matthew Whitaker and many more!
