Situated on the Hudson River, and accessed only by boat, the seasonal Hudson River Islands State Park is a tranquil, place to go for a hike, enjoy fishing and picnic. The two main islands are Stockport Middle Ground and Gay's Point. This NYS Park near Albany is open from Memorial Day-Columbus Day.
