Film: Jojo Rabbit
On the short list of films nearly certain to be nominated for a Best Motion Picture Academy Award, young Jojo is a lonely German boy during World War II who is shocked to discover that his mother is hiding a Jewish girl in their attic. Hilariously aided only by his imaginary friend – Adolf Hitler – Jojo must confront his youthful nationalism as the war continues to rage on. Scarlett Johansson, Sam Rockwell, Rebel Wilson and Stephen Merchant are among the stars. Rated PG-13 for mature thematic content, some disturbing images and language. 108 minutes.
