St. Peter’s Cardiac & Vascular Center Last Run 5K - December 19, 2015
Editor's Note 12/2/2015: As of November 27th, both registration for the Last Run 5K and the official Last Run 5K after-party at City Beer Hall are sold out. The public is invited to enjoy the fireworks show at 4:45 PM and cheer on the runners from the finish line on State Street.
Be a part of Albany's best winter run, celebrating its 19th year, on Saturday, December 19, 2015. The St. Peter's Cardiac & Vascular Center Last Run kicks off at 5:00 pm and weaves through downtown Albany, beginning on Washington Ave near City Hall and winding through Capital Holiday Lights in Washington Park. Last Run is a great race for runners of all ages and levels. The race ends in a great post-race party with awards, prizes and fireworks!
This year, all registered racers will get FREE shirts!
1st place male and female runner, as well as the top three male and female finishers in each of the following age categories: 15 and under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ and middle of the pack.
The post-race party for all registered runners takes place at the North End of the Empire State Plaza Concourse (entrance on State St. between Eagle & Swan), featuring age-based divisional awards and random prize drawings.
Limited to 1700 runners, the Last Run 5K typically sells out well in advance. Runners are encouraged to register early to ensure their spot. Participants may register online or mail in their entry form.
Early registration is only $25, and increases to $30 on November 1. Day-of registration is $35 if spaces are still available.
New this year: the official Last Run 5K after-party at City Beer Hall! Early registration tickets for the after-party are just $35 and include the registration fee for the race, one beverage ticket, an appetizer and door prize entry.
