The Masquerade Presents: Streets of London
About The Masquerade
The Masquerade was created to bring an imaginative and unique event to the Capital Region. Guests are encouraged to relax, get imaginative, and arrive in mask for a night of fun, enigmatic anonymity, and surprises. Each year the event takes place on the Friday of Halloween weekend with proceeds benefiting the Ronald McDonald House of Charities.
"From the decor and creative formal attire, to the silent auction and exciting entertainment, this event is designed to capture your imagination and transport you to a different time or place," Jeff Yule, Executive Director of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region, said in a statement.
Each year The Masquerade represents a distinct theme. Guests have experienced a glamorous masked ball with circus-like performers and then wandered into Wonderland at The Mad Hatter's Ball in the event's second year.
This year's event will transport guests back in time to The Streets of London at the turn of the century.
Since its inception, The Masquerade has been hosted annually in Albany. This year, the locale of the event will be in Schenectady.
Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at CapitalMasquerade.com.
This annual fundraiser is one of the most imaginative and unique events in the Capital Region and has netted almost $100,000 for the Ronald McDonald House Charities since 2015.
The Ronald McDonald House is a home away from home for families of seriously ill children and helps to create an environment where kids can be kids.
