There are many things that can take away the attention of employees. How can we attempt to avoid these things so production does not hinder or fall behind. Well what type of distraction are we talking about? The first example is employees and their personal belongings in the work area such as a cell phone. Most companies know this is a problem because the employee will stop working and either talk, text, or even be on the internet on company time. Another distraction is when employees hold conversations or talk about things other than work related issues or topics. This can be a problem because there are times when the employee begins conversation and unintentionally slows down the work flow or stops working all together.
