In today’s competitive job market experience matters, and if companies want to hire top talent they need to be actively engaging with potential candidates before they even apply for a position. This is because prospects want to know what it is like to work for the organization, before they even decide to apply for the position, they want to know the organizations culture to see if they will be a good fit within the organization. This article gave some suggestions as to how employers can be actively engaging with candidates.Through the use of technology potential candidates can have easy access to find relevant information about the company. Such as having organizations to be mobile friendly; allowing candidates of having the option to get on the organizations website by using their mobile device, through the use of being mobile friendly candidates should also have easy access to search career opportunities on the company’s website. Another suggestion is to utilize YouTube; this allows potential candidates to be able to see what’s it’s like to work at the organization, by getting to see a day in life of an employee who already works for the company.
