Before striking out on his own, Dickey Betts wrote and sang on the Allman Brothers Band's biggest hit, “Ramblin’ Man”, and composed many of the group’s best-loved songs.
The New York Times calls Betts “one of the great rock guitarists” and Rolling Stone ranks him among their list of the 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time.
