ALBANY NY -- See the spectacular Empire State Plaza fireworks this July 4th! Previously known as Price Chopper’s Fabulous 4th and Fireworks Festival, the show at the Empire State Plaza draws the biggest local crowd each Independence Day.
This year's theme is "Home Grown Fun" with an emphasis on local food and entertainment!
Enjoy live music and entertainment with a performance by local favorites, the Audiostars, and live radio broadcast by Radio Disney with their next big thing: Kicking Daisies. Other local bands include Captain Squeeze & the Zydeco Moshers, Hair of the Dog, and Alex Torres & His Latin Orchestra.

This massive fireworks display is visible from near and far, providing a worthwhile show for ESP spectators as well as surrounding neighborhoods. The fireworks in Albany last about an hour and end with a spectacular grand finale, impressive enough to rival any other big city fireworks show.
Traffic and parking in Albany get crazy on the Fourth of July because the city is PACKED, so make sure you show up early and bring plenty of cash for food. The festival begins at 3pm with great food, drink and live entertainment to keep you busy before the fireworks start (usually just after 9:00 pm).
