This Father's Day spend time with your dad enjoying live music and great views of the Hudson River!
On June 16, 2013 the City of Albany once again presents a Father’s Day gift to dads of the Capital Region, a FREE concert taking place in the Albany Riverfront Park Amphitheatre.
The concert will be followed by a spectacular fireworks show over the Hudson River. Food and beverages will be available to purchase starting at 6pm. So arrive early to get a spot for a family picnic before the show!
This year's concert will be a salute to U.S. Armed Forces and a celebration of the Army’s 238th birthday, with performances by two acclaimed military groups:
- USO Liberty Bells
- 94th Army Band

Parking: Garages, surface lots and street parking in downtown – access Amphitheatre via the Hudson River Way pedestrian bridge. Paid parking available in the Riverfront Garage (enter at Broadway and Columbia) for a $5 flat rate. Access Pedestrian Bridge from the top floor of the Garage. Handicap parking available at Columbia Street Garage and Corning Preserve parking lot. 5 additional spaces are available on Quay Street just before the former Albany Aqua Ducks building at the park entrance.
