Now, with technology, by using the Internet to reach those customers, it provides a more inexpensive tool for marketing, while still being able to reach those customers. Companies can use alternate routes for marketing their products, ideas, or services like social media and the Internet. This gives a lower cost option to start-up companies or small businesses that can’t afford traditional avenues for marketing. Also, customer loyalty can be impacted by innovative technology for marketing. Due to the availability of information on a business, customers can reach out to that business through e-mail or social media, when that has previously been unavailable.
