The Capital Region Flower & Garden Expo Returns Next Weekend
Spring has arrived, and one of the most popular events of the season is returning to Hudson Valley Community College in Troy next weekend – the Capital Region Flower & Garden Expo! From March 25 – 27, the 2022 Capital Region Flower & Garden Expo will feature a Garden Marketplace with over 160 flower, garden, and outdoor living themed retail exhibits, amazing floral creations, seminars and demonstrations, NY wine, cider, and spirit tastings, and more.
Tickets for the event are available now, and you can save by purchasing online in advance. Get your tickets and enjoy the annual expo next weekend.

The Broken Inn Opens in Old Niskayuna
Tommy Nicchi, owner of The Comedy Works in Saratoga Springs and other businesses, has just opened up The Broken Inn in Old Niskayuna. Situated at the intersection of Balltown Road and Nott Street, The Broken Inn is a neighborhood restaurant and bar that aims to put out great food and drinks, staff a team of friendly people, maintain a clean, inviting space, and give back to the community. Their menu includes a mix of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, brunch items (available on weekends), desserts, and ice cream.
Hop on Over to Easter Bunny Land at Crossgates Mall

St. Patrick’s Day was fun, but now it’s time to look ahead to Easter! If your kids are ready for photos with the Easter Bunny, then head on over to Easter Bunny Land at Crossgates Mall. Located on the lower level across from APEX Entertainment, Easter Bunny Land is open on Friday – Saturday, 11:00am-7:00pm, and Sunday, 11:00am-5:00pm, each week through April 16. Each kid will receive a gift from APEX Entertainment and 110 Grill with photo purchase.
Stay Tuned for a New Thrift Store in Downtown Albany
The Downtown Albany Business Improvement District (BID) recently announced that a new mission-based retailer called The Vandy is expected to open in a few weeks at 412 Broadway. Although details are limited at the moment, The Vandy will offer a variety of clothing and products for thrift shoppers to browse.
