African Burial Ground Remembrance Ceremony

In June 2016, several community organizations worked together to honorably rebury the remains of fourteen people who were formerly enslaved by the Schuyler's of Schuyler Flatts. Ten years later, it is fittig to remember them again.  St. Agnes Cemetery invites the community to join in a ceremony marking the 10 year anniversary of the burial grounds founding.  All are welome to join in honoring these people who were denied their freedom in life.  Enslaved in life, they are slaves no more.
