About this event

A Bridge Street Theatre Emerging Artists Production, Pippin is the Tony Award-winning musical featuring music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Godspell) and performed by a company of emerging artists ages 15–25.

One of the most beloved musicals in the Broadway canon, Pippin tells the story of a young prince determined to find a life of meaning, passion, and extraordinary purpose. Guided by the mysterious Leading Player and a troupe of theatrical performers, Pippin embarks on a journey through adventure, romance, power, and self-discovery, searching for the secret to true fulfillment.

Featuring a score filled with iconic songs including “Magic to Do,” “Corner of the Sky,” and “Morning Glow,” the musical combines dazzling theatricality with surprisingly profound questions about happiness, identity, and what truly makes a life worthwhile.

This production showcases the talents of emerging performers ages 15–25 while bringing one of Broadway's most enduring and entertaining musicals to Catskill audiences. Funny, heartfelt, and visually spectacular, Pippin continues to captivate audiences more than fifty years after its Broadway debut.
