The City of Albany’s Office of Cultural Affairs presents Arts in the City, a vibrant weekly summer series dedicated to promoting creativity and wellness through the arts. Running every Wednesday from July through September, this community-focused program invites residents and visitors of all ages to experience interactive, educational, and engaging art forms in unique settings throughout the city.
The festivities kick off on Wednesday, July 8th at 5:30 PM with "Salsa & Salsa" at Tricentennial Park and 55 Columbia Street. Attendees can enjoy delicious culinary salsa prepared by SEAT (Social Enterprise and Training Center) while learning to move with professional dance instruction provided by ¡Baila! Albany Dance Studio.
Arts in the City Highlights

- Diverse Programming: Weekly sessions teaching various artistic disciplines, including music, dance, poetry, wellness, and visual arts.
