Dinosaur Discoveries: Dig, Identify, Explore!

Become a paleontologist for the day as you uncover your very own dinosaur in a hands-on mini excavation! Young explorers will carefully dig for a hidden dinosaur, then work alongside Museum Educator Kate Ting to identify their discovery by examining its features, adaptations, and the time period in which it lived. Along the way, participants will learn how scientists use clues from fossils to understand the incredible diversity of dinosaurs and the ancient world they inhabited. Best of all, every participant will take home the mini dinosaur they discover to continue their prehistoric adventure.
