The Friends of the Bennington Battlefield have organized a tour of the archaeological lab at Peebles Island the afternoon of Friday October 23rd at 2:45. The tour is limited to 25 people so please make sure to reserve your spot by emailing fobb1777@gmail.com. Tickets are $40 and can be paid for at the beginning of the tour on Peebles Island. The ticket price includes the cost of the event and a year long membership to the Friends of the Bennington Battlefield.
The tour will be followed by a reception and lecture at the Waterford Historical Museum & Cultural Center (2 Museum Lane in Waterford) that evening. Those who can't attend the tour at Peebles Island can still attend the reception and lecture that evening at the museum. The museum humbly requests that those who don't pay the $40 to attend the entire event donate $10 to attend the reception and lecture at the WHMCC.
