Join the New York State Museum for a special hands-on origami activity inspired by Sadako’s Crane, a powerful symbol of remembrance and peace. Folded by 12-year-old Sadako Sasaki, a survivor of the Hiroshima bombing, this small paper crane—created from a medicine wrapper—has become a lasting reminder of hope, resilience, and the wish for peace.
