The Shenendehowa Central School District invites the community to the "Strides for Strength" walkathon on Sunday, October 11, 2026. Hosted by the Shen Dance Team and Real Kids Wear Pink, this community event unites residents to raise awareness and funds for cancer research, with proceeds benefiting the American Cancer Society.
The event’s mission is to bring our community together in hope, strength, and solidarity—to raise awareness for breast cancer and all forms of cancer. We “stride” to honor those we’ve lost, support those still fighting, and celebrate the survivors who inspire us every day.
