Rented from Avis on August 20mat Albany airport. Vehicle died the next day leaving us stranded for 10 hours. Avis assigned our replacement and pickup to a provider who never showed up. We were receiving constant text updated from Avis to stay with the vehicle they were n their way. We finally got through to the provider who advised us they declined the order! Now back on the phone to Avis who assigned the replacement to another company. They showed up at 10:30 that night.
So far no reach out from Avis, cost reduction offer or any consideration. I’m still waiting.
